De Politieacademie wil de politie en haar partners in veiligheid een inspirerende leeromgeving bieden. De Politieacademie is een belangrijke schakel tussen de Nederlandse politie en de samenleving, gericht op nationale en internationale veiligheid.

Politieonderwijs midden in de praktijk

De Politieacademie biedt onderwijs op mbo-, hbo- en universitair niveau voor medewerkers bij de politie. In het onderwijs staan de onderwerpen centraal waarmee een politiefunctionaris in de beroepspraktijk te maken krijgt. Werken en leren voor veiligheid.

De Politieacademie verzorgt de kennisfunctie voor de politie en haar partners. Het doel is om de dagelijkse politiepraktijk te verbeteren met wetenschappelijke ondersteuning. Door onderzoek en kennisoverdracht wordt de nieuwste expertise toegankelijk voor alle partners.

IPEP
The International Police Expertise Platform (IPEP) is an international platform for police officers world-wide where knowledge and experiences can be exchanged without the boundaries of time and place.

The aim of IPEP is to offer the police the possibility to work together across borders more effectively. To learn from each other and to contribute to creating more efficient police cooperation. IPEP should become a guide to working in an international police environment.
